Tonight I shall ride beyond that cold and desolate maze
The ravens of the one eyed god shall bring impeccable sight
and help me conquer all the nightmares i shall find

As I crossed the valley of frost
overwhelmed by a putrid smell
Before I could reach my sword, I was trapped by the horrid goddess Hel

the Hrimthursar would not allow escape
The pain was agonizing
I thought that I would never see the moon again
The winds of Hraesvelg tossed me like a lifeless troll

My entrails were exposed
I became an easy prey
Then the mighty ravens fought with the dreaded giants
and delivered me back to the mountain
